I am fully vaccinated with SINOVAC vaccine, am I allowed to enter Canada?

If you are eligible to enter Canada, fully vaccinated or not, you will be allowed to enter Canada as long as you meet other mandatory requirements. However, starting July 5, 2021,  eligible travelers who are fully vaccinated and eligible travelers to Canada who meet other mandatory requirements, are no longer required to quarantine at home or stay at an authorized hotel.

Accepted Vaccine in Canada
Currently, only the vaccines manufactured by the following are accepted by the Government of Canada:

• Pfizer
• Moderna
• AstraZeneca/COVISHIELD
• Janssen (Johnson & Johnson)

China's vaccine (SINOVAC), which is mostly used by developing countries, is not yet accepted by the Government of Canada.

If you are eligible to travel to Canada and you are fully vaccinated with SINOVAC, you are still required to undergo quarantine for 14 days.
